Software License Terms

Your license covers the version(s) of the software specified at the time of purchase. All releases sharing the same major version number (for example 2.0, 2.1, 2.5) are covered by your license. Point releases are free upgrades; a major version upgrade (for example 2.x to 3.0) is offered at a reduced upgrade fee, usually 50% or less of a new license.

Registered users who purchased within the last 6 months receive a free upgrade when a major version is released.

License types

• Single User License — one license for one named user. Install and use the software on your own computer(s) for either personal or business purposes. This is the standard license sold on each purchase page.
• Volume licenses (2 – 4, 5 – 9, 10+) — buying several single-user licenses in one order earns a per-seat discount. These tiers are quantity discounts, not separate license types; each seat is still a single-user license.
• Site license — for organizations that need to install the software on many computers, please contact support for a customized quote.
